— Communicate with a third party Card Management System (CMS) following requests to issue new travel products, providing feedback on progress such that this can be tracked through CMS.
— Communicate with the Yorcard IHOPS as required where such travel products are to be issued as products on ITSO smartcards.
— Print ITSO smartcards and other ticketing media to a high quality standard.
— Encode ITSO smartcards.
— Send passes to applicant with personalised letter/card carrier by second class post and where instructed enclose other media.
The Contract will run for 3 years, with an extension option available to SYPTE to extend by up to 2 further years.

1. Demonstrate experience of producing and mailing out ITSO smartcards or smartcards issued under a similar national smartcard standard.
2. Demonstrate experience of producing smartcards in response to instructions delivered via a third party Card Management System (CMS).

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Expressions of interest will be evaluated against the minimum standards set out in III.2.2 and 2.3 above, if the number of candidates remains above the maximum set of 5 they will be evaluated on a scored assessment for technical capacity, full details of which are included in the documentation for this tender available on our website at www.sypte.co.uk/contracts and the 5 highest scoring candidates will be invited.
