It is envisaged that the majority of works let under this Framework will be of an elemental planned nature. However, some responsive works will be required. Elements may be batched into larger single work streams. In this case, contractors with a greater capacity and infrastructure may be needed. Work will also be awarded in single or small batches. By awarding the contract in Lots, It is the intention of this tender to ensure the works are delivered in keeping with the local agenda by attracting Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), providing employment and training opportunities within the various communities but above all, providing the best value for money to the Tenants of FHL and DDH. However, the postal address and size of candidate contractors is less important than the local delivery; all bidders must demonstrate how they will deliver the services with our local agenda in mind.
FHG will be hosting a bidders day on 6.1.2016 for a Q&A session. please contact the procurement team for further details.
