Promotion and Marketing of Prevention Matters
Proposals are invited from organisations interested in working with the

Prevention Matters partnership to promote the programme and help increase

referrals to the service. The Council has ambitious targets for the number of

people it wants to support through the programme over the next 2-3 years and

has an ongoing communications strategy to ensure people are aware of the

services available. However, in order to reach out to isolated individuals who

are not well linked in to their local communities and who are most likely to

benefit from the Prevention Matters’ services, it is important we develop a

wider range of promotional activity and develop new ways of spreading the word.

There are three main focus areas

1) Raise awareness of Prevention Matters to people who will potentially benefit

and as a result increase the number of referrals to the programme

2) enhance the national profile of Buckinghamshire County Council and the

Prevention Matters programme to Health, Social Care & Voluntary Sector

organisations

3) support to voluntary sector partners to run successful campaigns to recruit

volunteers to help build community capacity.

Applicants will therefore need to demonstrate they have a proven track record

of social marketing campaigns related to vulnerable adults

co-design process please refer to the Prevention Matters website
