Summary of Commission
Provide Cheshire West and Chester residents with a high-quality welfare, advice and information service that can effectively meet local needs from simple enquiry and information through to legal advice and assistance or representation at tribunal and court proceedings. The service will ensure that clients have access to the help they need to resolve their civil legal problems and to reduce the amount of times a client needs to be referred on to different advice services.
In order to effectively meet its duties under the Care Act 2014, the Council must ensure there is an established and maintained information and advice service which is fundamental to enabling people, carers, and families. It includes being accessible and proportionate to the population as well as included in local strategic plans, overall supporting people.
Potential bidders are requested to express their interest, and complete the questionnaire on the Chest – please note that you must be logged in and have expressed your interest to do this. Completed questionnaires must be uploaded on the Chest by 15th March 2021.
