This Expressions of Interest stage is combined with the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire stage. Please ensure that you provide a complete response to the Questionnaire. Your Expression of Interest should be sent to the e-mail address shown in the Contact Information, together with your contact details and a copy of the completed Questionnaire. Once the Deadline Date has passed, all compliant Questionnaires received will be assessed and evaluated according to the criteria specified in the PQQ. Up to 6 responses will proceed to the second stage of the tender process, and will be issued an Invitation To Tender in due course. The programme of projects proposed is likely to include the following types of work: i. Alteration / removal of existing weir / sluice structures ii. Construction of rock ramps, fish passes and channel bypasses iii. Channel enhancements such as: – creation of gravel bars and riffles – bed raising – channel narrowing using a range a range of techniques such as faggoting, coir fibre rolls, causeways and bank re-profiling iv. Insertion of current deflectors and large woody debris into watercourses v. Bank protection using natural materials vi. Creation and improvement of floodplain habitats, such as scrapes, ponds, and backwaters vii. Re-meandering watercourses viii. Planting / seeding and vegetation clearance, including treeworks ix. Marginal planting x. De-silting xi. Dredging xii. Spoil and materials management
