To provide the London Borough of Enfield with a solution to integrate custom built forms functionality into SAP with minimal effort. A high degree of autonomy is required, allowing new development and amendments to be carried out by Council staff independently. This will be used by internal Council staff via the existing SAP system and the Intranet, and also external users via the Internet.The requirement is for a solution that provides functionality for the creation and amendment of interactive forms that manage data input and validation into SAP. It will eliminate the need for reinputting data (duplication) and the requirement to process paper invoices. This will lead to the development and refining of processes in which less time is spent on data entry, as electronic dataposting reduces the need for human involvement, and at the same time increases data accuracy.
There are a number of business processes (shown below) which have already been identified as requiring an automated solution for the first phase of implementation:
Business processes;
Overtime Claims;
Car Mileage Claims;
AP1 accounts payable payment forms (One-off payments and uploads of multiple-line payments);
