II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The framework agreement is to provide at no cost to the contracting body or partnering organisations the provision and installation of pv panels to public authority sites in Gloucestershire whilst also providing to each the benefit of the electricity generated by the PV installation for free and an agreed percentage share of the feed in tariff (FiT) over the lifetime of the installation which will be deemed to be 25 years.
The framework agreement will be available to Gloucestershire County Council, GCC Schools, Academies, District, Borough, Town and Parish Councils, Community and Voluntary sectors, Gloucestershire NHS Trusts and Gloucestershire Police Authority & Emergency Services, (Although these body’s reserve the right to use other providers if they choose).
In addition, the Provider must be a member of the appropriate regulating body’s i.e. The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and trade associations relevant for the trade.
