Invitation for expressions of interest for provision of services associated with speaking and facilitation at leadership development events and activities.

Derbyshire County Council is looking for inspirational and engaging speakers to give talks on a range of topics of interest to senior leaders. Topics covered are likely to be focussed on:
• leadership
• topics associated with managing staff, motivating them during times of change and unlocking their potential
• innovation in local government service delivery
• sharing good practice
• topical public sector issues
However, this list is not exhaustive. We are looking for opportunities to inspire and motivate managers, using these events as developmental opportunities that make people go away and do things differently and inspire their staff as a result.

There will be a range of dates throughout the year and we are looking for a pool of individuals that we can call on as required.

The talks/sessions could be anywhere between one and three hours.

We are looking for submissions of 200-300 words to explain what you can offer. This should include the topics you would be able to cover, what impact you would expect to have on the audience, and a description of your preferred delivery style.

We have been fortunate in the past to have found people willing to provide these services free of charge. However, please state if you would expect a fee and how much it would be.
