Service category No 25: Health and social services
1. Deliver a comprehensive sexual healthcare information service to the general public and provide specialist support for healthcare and other professionals involved in sexual health;
2. Produce a minimum amount of free leaflets and respond to helpline and web enquiries within agreed performance indicators;
3. Regularly review and update all information resources in line with clinical and other developments taking into account advice from a panel of clinical experts and the Department of Health contraceptive services Stakeholder Group;
4. Produce quarterly monitoring reports for Department of Health and the Department of Health contraceptive service group and any other reports required.

The Department of Health reserves the right for yearly reviews based on funding and performance. This contract will be subject to break clauses.
Please note from 2013 this contract may be novated to Public Health England (PHE).
Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) are encouraged to bid for this work.
The services required are part B services and the procurement will be conducted accordingly. A 10 day standstill period will apply.

Instructions for conditions of participation.
All participants must complete an invitation to tender (ITT) which covers economic and financial capacity and technical capacity. This procurement exercise will be conducted on the DH eTendering portal at http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Aboutus/Procurementandproposals/BMS/index.htm.
We call this system BMS (business management system).
Candidates wishing to be considered for this contract must register their details and download and complete an ITT through the DH eTendering portal (BMS).
Registration is a simple one-step process.
The supplier must register as a company/organisation; then each employee who may undertake a tendering exercise must then register as an individual. Once this stage is completed, it is then possible to register an expression of interest for this tender.
Note: standard BMS functionality will only acknowledge one recipient per supplier for each individual tender. If you require the tender to be seen by multiple users we suggest using a centralised e-mail address[email@example.com].

d) Within 3 working days, you will receive an e-mail with your login information; a unique username and password.
