Climate, weather, statistics and writing training for met office scientists!
High quality training for Met Office weather and climate scientists allows them to perform their research and development work more effectively, and contributes to the Met Office in meeting its business objectives. The Met Office requires the provision of training courses from an external supplier at its HQ building in Exeter, UK in the subject areas of climate foundation, advanced statistics of weather and climate, geophysical fluid dynamics/numerical methods, and scientific writing. The successful tenderer will manage the organisation and delivery of the 4 training courses in collaboration with the Met Office College and the Met Office Science programme.
The Met Office intends to award a three year Framework Agreement, with the option to extend for a further year, with a science training provider.
