Glasgow 2014 are seeking to engage the appointment of an experienced and suitably qualified Contractor(s) to provide the services required to plan and deliver the Sport Presentation, Medal Ceremonies and CGV Ceremonies for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The appointed Sport Presentation Contractor is responsible for implementing an agreed creative theme across all sports involved in the Games at each identified competition venue including production of specific video board content, sport announcements and commentary, in-venue music, agreed lighting and entertainment (including interaction of the mascot in-venue).
A Contractor will also be engaged to deliver the CGV Ceremonies. Specifically, it is proposed that:
A. a CGV Opening Ceremony will be scheduled to officially open the CGV to the Athletes and Team Officials who will be residing in it;
B. each of the 71 participating Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) will be presented with a Team Welcome Ceremony (TWC) as a formal welcome to the CGV, Glasgow and Scotland; and
C. a Farewell Ceremony will be scheduled to officially close the CGV and to farewell all Athletes and Team Officials.
