Our website, its content and platform, is a business-critical element of SRUC’s ambition of becoming a new kind of 21st Century University. It is essential that our web and digital delivery are commensurate with the level of technological advances in both our audiences and the industries that we serve. Moreover, the major elements of the strategy require strong digital support in order that we maintain and grow student numbers, increase research income, grow our consulting contracts and income, and extend our international reach. We therefore seek a supply partner that will share and deliver our vision for a new website.

Our website, its content and platform, is a business-critical element of SRUC’s ambition of becoming a new kind of 21st Century University. It is essential that our web and digital delivery are commensurate with the level of technological advances in both our audiences and the industries that we serve. Moreover, the major elements of the strategy require strong digital support in order that we maintain and grow student numbers, increase research income, grow our consulting contracts and income, and extend our international reach.
The website must:
— provide integration between external and internal customer needs,
— provide a shop window to demonstrate new innovations and research,
— provide an industry facing communications channel,
— offer the ability to cross international boundaries,
— inspire our visitors to work with us, whether they are students, farmers, researcher partners or industry bodies.
We want to build a website that instils pride and confidence in our internal and external audiences, conveys our vision, identity and personality through beautiful and intuitive design, and that demonstrably contributes to the financial success of the institution as a whole.
