Working together to meet the needs of Cornish children and give them a better future
Virtual workshop on Thursday 11th February 2021 – placements and support for young people with complex emotional health and wellbeing needs
Cornwall is hosting a virtual workshop with potential providers to look at how we can work together to support young people, 16-25 years, with complex emotional health and wellbeing needs, particularly in regard to step down from tier 4. We would like to invite you to join us.
At the workshop we will set out the landscape in Cornwall and what we want for your children and young people and how we want to work in the future. There will be short presentations from our health colleagues covering managing traumas, risk and self-harming / self-injurious behaviour and the importance of, and working with children and young people with ASD and/or LD. We will work together in a co-design session looking at the best options for future development.
Should you wish to attend the event, please email Joanne.Lawry@cornwall.gov.uk requesting a link to the MS Teams invitation.
We hope that you can join us and we look forward to meeting you. We hope that you will find this session helpful and work with us in Cornwall.
