HPL on behalf of Royal Surrey Hospital is seeking suitable and capable suppliers of sterile services to develop a long term

Provision of sterilisation services for the Trust including endoscopy decontamination as a core provision. The facilities may be on site or off the Royal Surrey County Hospital site

HPL on behalf of the Trust will be seeking suitable and capable suppliers of sterile services to develop a long term provision of sterilisation services for the Trust including endoscopy decontamination as a core provision.

The option to offer services to other external customers should also be considered.

Annual volumes and service requirements are shown in the output specification.

Description of renewals:

The contract shall take effect on the commencement date and shall be for a period of seven (7) years. The term may be extended by any period or periods provided that the duration of the extension to the contract shall be no longer than 3 years i.e. a total contract length of 10 years.

The service provider must have a quality system which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN ISO 13485:2016.

In addition Registration to MDD 93/42/EEC – throughout the contract term, for all aspects of the Services that fall within the scope of the MDD, the service provider shall maintain registration under the MDD. Failure to do so will lead to the HPL’s right to terminate the contract with immediate effect.
