To procure an alliance approach to increasing digital inclusion in Stockport by encouraging residents to get online and improve their digital skills. Set up funding will be provided by the Council which is expected to provide sufficient funding to establish the Alliance and the initiate collaborative working across partners. The Alliance will use the funding to work towards becoming self sufficient as an organisation with its primary purpose to develop a collaborative approach to increase Digital Inclusion in Stockport. An end date for the contract has not been provided as this work is expected to continue well beyond the initial funding period.
