See Tender Document at http://www.ukces.org.uk/work-with-us/tenders
The UK Commission invites proposals to deliver the following work:
Lot one – A study of the supply of and demand for high level STEM skills (single study)
Much attention has been given to the importance of STEM skills in the UK. They have a vital role in shaping a future economy that achieves greater competitiveness through knowledge, innovation and R&D. Therefore, the UK Commission wishes to update its understanding of the supply and demand for STEM skills in the UK.
Lot two – The role of technology in driving high level skill needs (multiple studies)
Firms that use technology intensively are likely to operate high value added product-market strategies and therefore be vital for economic recovery. Skill shortages experienced by firms that are dependent on advanced technology therefore pose a threat to recovery. As a result the UK Commission wishes to contract multiple studies to understand these skill needs in more depth and to understand long term skill needs created by emerging technologies.
The closing date for submission of proposals is Wednesday 14 November.
Separate proposals must be submitted for each Lot – please refer to the individual Lots for details of the specific requirements
