The British Council needs to progress its English and Exams business (E&E) by delivering an interface allowing the business to take payments online for all British Council products. The scope of this project is to identify fit for purpose supplier/s to deliver common payments services at a strategic or regional level. It will deliver the following payments services including but not exclusive: Credit/Debit Card, payment by instalments, corporate customers, remittance advice.
The purpose of this project is for the British Council to identify and engage with a number of Acquiring Banks and Payment Service Providers used globally to authorise and process customer online payments, collect and bank income centrally where possible and provide coverage in multiple operating countries.
The Provider(s) needs to be scalable in adapting to the overall integration platform applications and architecture and to any future improvements. Also, the Provider(s) will accept all major and country specific payment types.
