- Stray dog collection and Kennelling
- North Somerset Council has a duty to collect and hold stray dogs found within its area. In order to assist the council in meeting its duty the council is letting the following contracts;
1 -The provision of Kennelling facilities for Stray Dogs.
2- The collection of Stray Dogs outside core council hours.
3- The provision of Kennelling Facilities for Dangerous Dogs.
All three contracts are for five years with the option of a two year extension.
In order to meet the requirements of this contract Companies must have direct and proven experience, gained over at least the last 5 years, of providing dog boarding kennels or the collection and holding of stray dogs as appropriate.
Further details can be found in the attached documents. Companies may bid for one, two or all three of the contracts.
Tenders are to be returned by noon 3 July 2012.
