The Council is seeking tenders for appointment to a single provider framework for the supply and delivery of Fresh and Frozen meat products. The principal purpose of the tender is to establish a Framework for the supply and delivery of Fresh and Frozen Meat products to various Dorset County Council establishments throughout the county of Dorset. The Framework shall be for an initial period of 2 years commencing 4.11.2013 and ending on 3.11.2015, with provision to extend for a further 1 year + 1 year subject to satisfactory performance, making a total 4 year period. Whilst principally for use by Dorset County Council, the Framework will also be open for use by other public sector bodies. Other public bodies who will be accessing this contract from the outset are Poole Borough Council. In addition, the Council will grant access to the Framework will be Adult and Community establishments, some Children’s services establishment including Academies. Estimated value: the estimated value of the framework is 496 000 GDP based on 2 years + 1 year + 1 year. This figure is given as guidance only and the Council cannot guarantee that this value of business will be generated during the period of the framework.
