Futures Housing Group Ltd and its subsidiary companies as described in Section 1159 of the 2006 Companies Act, wishes to appoint a suitably qualified ICT partner to virtualise their remaining physical infrastructure of approximately 40 servers and to consolidate their existing virtualised servers to one solution. Centralised storage and a new backup solution are to be implemented to ensure redundancy and data protection. A virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) will be implemented and a pilot for up to 20 users. Futures Housing Group has identified VMware and Veeam as being suitable for its needs and wishes to only receive expressions of interest that offer this as the intended solution. The contract award will be determined by a Competitive Dialogue and it is mandatory to register expressions of interest at our web based tendering portal www.procuringourfutures.co.uk It is intended that hardware, software and support will be from a single source.
