This Procurement covers the removal from site and disposal of redundant machinery and the design, supply and delivery, off-loading and erection of materials and equipment, together with all skilled and unskilled labour necessary for the full and complete installation of a Continuous Batch Washer on level 4 of the Ninewells Hospital Laundry, and handing over of the finished installations for immediate use to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer.
The systems shall be designed to incorporate appropriate parts of the existing system and ensure that the equipment and systems installed are fully compatible and achieve, in effect, one system satisfactory to the Engineer.
The Contract may be regarded as ‘Turn-Key’ in nature and this option should be included in final tender.
The system shall include the following principal units:
ONE multi-stage batch tunnel washing machine, suitable for processing work in 50 Kg batches (bone dry weight), along with loading conveyer, hoist and separator.
