This contract is for the supply and installation of shelters including repair/maintenance and cleaning options.
This contract includes the following:
— Supply and installation of new bus shelters on an ad-hoc basis
— Management of all aspects of materials supply in accordance with the specification,
— Ensure that new components for bus shelters meet the required standard and are compatible and interchangeable with existing components,
— Maintain and replace any parts for the existing bus shelters as and when reported/required,
— Management of connections/disconnections of bus shelters to/from mains electrical supply (where required by the Council),
Bidders will also be invited to submit proposals for the maintenance and cleaning requirements which are optional and may be taken up at any time during the contract.

(a) is bankrupt or is being wound up, where his affairs are being administered by the court, where he has entered into an arrangement with creditors, where he has suspended business activities or is in any analogous situation arising from a similar procedure under national laws and regulations;
(b) is the subject of proceedings for a declaration of bankruptcy, for an order compulsory winding up the administration by the court or of an arrangement with creditors or of any other similar proceedings under national laws and regulations;
(c) has been convicted by a judgment which has the force of res judicata in accordance with the legal provisions of the country of any offence concerning his professional conduct;

This contract is initially being let by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council on behalf of itself and Darlington Borough Council however access to this contract maybe extended to other public sector organisations within the Tees Valley; Stockton on Tees Borough Council, Hartlepool Borough Council, Middlesbrough Borough Council, Cleveland Police and Cleveland Fire Brigade. The requirements will vary from organisation to organisation and there is no guarantee that all organisations will participate in this contract in the future.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council will only be responsible for their list of contract requirements. All other organisations will be responsible for their individual requirements and contract arrangement.
The value range provided on this notice includes the potential that all public sector organisations named above use the framework. There is no guarantee as to any orders being placed via this framework the values given are estimated requirements based on approximate requirements over the life of the contract.
Under this contract the winning contractor/s will be required to support the awarding authority’s environmental objectives. Accordingly contract performance conditions may relate to these objectives.
