The Police & Crime Commissioner for South Wales has a requirement for the design, supply, installation and maintenance of an Open Protocol CCTV, Cell Call, Affray Alarm and Access Control System at the Custody Centre of Swansea Central Police Station.
The successful supplier will be required to design and install the required systems in accordance with the particular specification and in compliance with the Home Office Police Building Design Guide 2009 (Custody) and the ACPO Guidance on the Safer Detention and Handling of Persons in Police Custody 2012.
An Open Protocol system will be installed that does not compromise future development or it’s continued maintenance.
Installed systems will be interfaced at serial level only and will not be fully integrated, allowing each system to operate independently when other parts of the system are off-line or otherwise unavailable.
Maintenance support will be made available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A planned and preventative maintenance schedule will also be required.
