The Immersive Virtual Reality Room is to be used for teaching and research into visual perception and human behaviour coupled to electrophysiological recordings. Thus, the software provision must be suitable for writing customized experiments in which we have precise control of timing parameters (both input and output), allowing programmed events to be triggered by human actions. We expect the facility to continue to be used beyond the initial 5 years funding period.
