Description of the contract

This is a requirement for the supply of a wide range of Sub Aqua equipment; it also includes the service and repair of Sub Aqua equipment. The Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents and equipment specifications will be issued to all companies that express an interest in this requirement. The majority of the equipment will be delivered to locations in Portsmouth UK. Full selection criteria will be detailed within the ITT; however the ITT will evaluate a Bidders Financial Health; The ability to supply the required range of equipment; The ability to service/repair Sub Aqua equipment; The ability to deliver to agreed timescales; Technical compliance; Quality and Sustainability. A minimum score of 70% against the ITT is required to be deemed as compliant, and it is the Authorities intention to invite the top 6 complaint Bidders to the next stage. The stage following the ITT process is an end user product evaluation. An expert panel will evaluate a range of equipment using the following criteria – Fit; Quality of Manufacture; Integration with other items; Ease of use; Suitability of features; Robustness and Durability. Further detail relating to the ITT and product evaluation will be issued within the ITT documentation.
