Bus Infrastructure currently uses an asset management system to manage physical on-street assets for bus stops/shelters and for maintaining publicity at bus stops. Originally an off the shelf package, the system has been customised to include tracking, managing and issuing of work orders to 3rd party contractors. When the current contract with Pitney Bowes comes to term, it will have been used by Buses Infrastructure for 10 years. The current support contract expires in September 2014. The main objectives of this project are: – To ensure service continuity for the management of the physical on-street assets for bus stops/shelters and publicity at bus stops as well as the continued ability to track, manage and issue work orders to 3rd party contractors – To minimise the risk of disruption due to changes brought about by the procurement process
