The House of Lords is currently reviewing contracts with a view to putting in place joint contracts with The House of Commons. As a consequence this is a 2 year Framework in order to match requirements and timeframes for tendering processes with the House of Commons.

1)Short description

The Authority requires an extensive range of wines from a variety of countries, regions, vintages, variety of grapes, alcohol strengths and styles in order to fulfill the requirements of the wine list available in various outlets throughout the House of Lords. The successful suppliers may be required to provide only one or a variety of wines in each of the different price bands to enable the Authority to create a wine list for each outlet.

1)Short description

The supply of a wide range of draft beers and ales in various sized kegs and casks. All operating equipment and ongoing maintenance is to be provided by the supplier of the draft beer products. The response time for maintenance call outs must be within 4 hours, this service may also be required outside standard operating hours.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: The Authority will apply all the offences listed in Article 45(1) of Directive 2004/18/EC (implemented as Regulation 23(1) of the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2006 in the UK) and all of the professional misconducts listed at Article 45(2) of Directive 2004/18/EC (see also Regulation 23(2) in the PCR 2006) to the decision of whether a Candidate is eligible to be invited to tender.
