Description of the contract

The aim of this project is to analyse and quantify upstream (supply chain) sustainability impacts of the goods and services we procure so we can express them in both physical and financial terms. This will identify where our biggest environmental and social risks are in our supply chain. It will provide environmental, reputational and financial benefits to both the Environment Agency and our suppliers. It will inform supplier engagement, support us in establishing targets and reduce our environmental impacts, and provide a key data set for reporting our sustainability performance to stakeholders in the annual report and accounts.
