The Library seeks to procure a modular, modern data centre including all services (cooling, UPS, power distribution, fire detection and suppression) to be installed into a prepared area on the ground floor of an existing building. The area is approximately 8.3 m x 3.3 m x 2.6 m and the Library requires an energy efficient solution with a capacity for at least 6 standard racks and a networking rack with a maximum power and cooling capacity of 10 KW per rack.
The floor of the prepared area is on 2 levels, and a raised floor or some other solution to provide a level floor will be required by suppliers.
The procurement is to include installation and commissioning, and the entirety of the cooling solution (external area identified for mounting units).

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: (1) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that they are not bankrupt or the subject of an administration order, are not being wound-up, have not granted a trust deed, are not the subject of a petition presented for sequestration of their estate, have not had a receiver, manager or administrator appointed and are not otherwise apparently insolvent.
