University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a new Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system.
The systems used within the Trust for prescribing medications and recording their administration are based on a model established in the 1960s.
The Trust is committed to delivering a technology environment where systems and solutions support the need to provide excellent services which meet the local needs.
The ePrescribing system is an overarching technology that will contribute to the creation of the Trust”s development of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
The contract is to provide an EPMA for the Trust including: Software, Interfaces, Training.
Implementation support including provisions of, and support for, changes required for compliance with Government legislation and standards.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: In accordance with Articles45 to 50 of Directive 2044/18/EC and Regulations 23 to 25 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) and as set out in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire available from the address in section 1.1.
Candidates will be required to answer these questions as part of the qualification process.
