The Borough Council of Bolton (“the Council”) provides a range of high quality of furniture packages to customers renting homes from Bolton at Home or other social landlords within the Bolton Community Housing Partnership. Concurrently it also provides furniture for its Temporary Accommodation, Asylum and Lease Management Services, within the borough. The Council has furnished in excess of 1,500 homes across the borough & it is envisaged that existing furniture packages may need replacement or repair in the future. This Framework is for the provision of new furniture packages across the borough, and associated repair / replacement of furniture in existing tenancies.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Borough Council of Bolton will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information is available as dictated in I.1 If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No. 5) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court. Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months).
