The way in which NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) thank the life saving contribution made from donors is set to change in 2014 with the introduction of a new recognition scheme. The new scheme will have an updated look and feel and incorporate items such as badges, medals, key fobs and framed certificates.

There are four badges included in the recognition scheme. These are posted to donors at the 10, 25, 50 and 75 milestones. They will be inserted in to a presentation box.
