Associated British Ports (ABP) intend to put in place one or more main contracts and/or consultancy appointments for a proposed ‘Enterprise Wide Business Solution’ (Business Solution) — to be supplied and implemented within ABP.
It is anticipated that a significant, core component of the Business Solution will be a modern, scalable, fully integrated corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system — working in conjunction with one or more specialist Port / Vessel / Terminal Management operational systems that will be capable of handling a wide variety of cargoes — and which, all taken together, will support a broad range of key ABP business processes.
ABP is seeking applications from suitable contractors and consultants who wish to be considered for inclusion on the tender list for the Business Solution and for the associated implementation, support and other consultancy services. ABP are interested in engaging with:
— Specialist software companies who own and implement their own software solutions.
— Established Implementation Partners who may have experience of implementing one or more software solutions from a major specialist software company.
— System Integrators who can provide a viable Business Solution.
