Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority is looking to replace its Training and Competency management system by implementing a commercial off-the-shelf package, which will help ensure fire-fighter safety through a competency framework, support the Authority’s aspirations to extend its commercial operations and increase efficiency within the Training Academy.

The scope of the contract will include configuration, testing, training, implementation and roll out of a suitable package including provision of a software system and licences, with optional services such as data migration, as well as software maintenance & support for the Contract period.
Out of scope of this procurement is the purchase of hardware, networks, and any station end equipment.

Range: between 50 000 and 220 000 GBP

Description of these options: The Contract will include an option to extend for up to sixty (60) months. The option to extend will be at the discretion of the Authority and will be exercised during the final two (2) years of the initial term of the Contract. The value of the extension may range from £25 000 to £110 000 for up to the full sixty (60) month extension period.
