Bristol City Council propose conducting a tender to put in place a contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of Pay on Foot equipment and infrastructure for two of its Multi Storey Car Parks (MSCP’s) located in central Bristol.
The proposed purpose of the contract is to provide:
— Up to 12 Pay on Foot pay stations that offer several payment options, including, cash and credit / debit card,
— 10 entry / exit stations and barrier machines,
— 10 ANPR cameras to be used for the recognition of season ticket holders and pre-paid customers,
— A robust supporting infrastructure,
— A high quality maintenance service.

Bristol City Council propose publishing a contract notice in November 2012 for the supply, installation and maintenance of Pay on Foot equipment and infrastructure, with a proposed implementation date of July 2013. The Council is seeking to alert potential bidders via this PIN of the proposed issue of the contract notice.
As part of our market engagement process it is proposed to hold a ‘Suppliers Awareness Day’ on 15.10.12 which will include short presentations on the procurement process, timetable and fundamental elements of the draft specification. After the short presentations, potential expressors of interest will have the ability to book short sessions with Council specialists to discuss anything in the presentations and ask related questions on an individual basis. Q&A will then be distributed to all bidders anonymously to ensure transparency.
