1/ To be suitable for depot operating requirements, door opening speed to be between 1.2 and 2.4 m/second. Closing speed 1.2 m/second.
2/ Due to site exposure to elements, doors must be designed to withstand >1 000 N /m2 class 5 wind pressure (80 mph) and conforms to European Norms EN 12424.
3/ Dimensions will be approximately 4 000 mm x 4 000 mm.
3/ A full specification will be issued at tender stage.

Description of particular conditions: Suppliers expressing an interest will be required to successfully complete a pre-qualification questionnaire.
The Pre-qualification Questionnaire and associated documents are to be provided upon companies expressing an interest in this contract.
The Pre-qualification Questionnaire will be separately issued electronically upon request by the contact point mentioned in Section 1.

— The contract and any matters, including the disputes, arising out of it will be subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
— Tube Lines Limited does not bind itself to accept any tender.
— Registration of interest in this procurement by any party does not guarantee inclusion of the party on the tender enquiry list. Tube Lines Limited shall select candidates to receive invitations to tender in accordance with objective criteria as detailed in IV.2.1 of this Notice and in the invitation to tender documents.
— Tube Lines Limited reserves the right to select those candidates with whom it wishes to negotiate. This will be done on an objective basis according to objective criteria and rules laid down by Tube Lines Limited.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals
The UK government has announced its commitment to greater data transparency, accordingly Tube Lines reserves the right to publishing its tender documents, contracts and data from invoices received. In so doing Tube Lines may at its absolute discretion take account of the exemptions that would be available under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
Requests for future debriefing and appeals must be made in accordance with the Utilities Contract Regulations 2006.
The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
