Futures Housing Group Ltd (FHG) wishes to replace its ageing fleet of light commercial vehicles with a brand new fleet of circa 58 vans and crew cab trucks. FHG will select a suitably qualified and financially sound economic operator(s) to provide the new fleet by the Open Tender Process. This will be a single purchase, evaluated over a whole life cost of seven years and will include criteria to measure service costs, warranty period and other measures described in the invitation to tender. The tender includes a requirement for disposal of our existing fleet of 55 No. Ford based vans and crew cab trucks, the majority being on 2005 registrations with low to medium mileage, respondents are required to provide proposals in this regard. During the life of the contract, FHG reserve the right to increase the number of vehicles on its fleet dependant on operational needs by purchasing directly from the winning bidder. It is unlikely this need will exceed 15 % of the contract value.
