Supply and Maintenance of Cash Management Equipment – London Underground Stations The contracting entity requests expressions of interest for a contract for the supply and maintenance of cash management equipment for London Underground stations. The contract will cover the supply of cash management equipment to the contracting entity. The contract will cover the maintenance of the equipment supplied for a period of 2 years with options to extend up to a further 2 years. It is currently intended that the scope of the requirement will cover the supply and maintenance of cash management equipment in one lot. The general scope comprises the provision and maintenance of approximately 400 individual multipurpose devices across circa 300 locations. The multipurpose devices will replace a number of existing bespoke devices currently used and shall be capable of:- -Counting cash (both UK sterling banknotes and coins) -Dispensing cash (UK sterling coins) -Retaining the cash deposited within the device securely -Recording and reconciling the cash deposited within the device -Remotely reporting transactions and device status The devices will be sized and configured appropriately for the individual operating requirement for each location. The above information is supplied for indicative purposes only and the specific scope and specifications will be more particularly defined in the ITT. It is intended that 1 candidate, if suitable, will be awarded a contract. The contracting entity, however, reserves the right to award a contract, if suitable, in part to 1 or more candidates. It is intended that a minimum of 3 candidates (the highest scoring qualifying candidates), will be selected to tender for this requirement. The contracting entity, however reserves the right to select fewer candidates to tender for this requirement . Individual Companies, Consortia or Joint Ventures are invited to register their interest in tendering. The proposed procurement timetable will be set out in the pre-qualification questionnaire. The estimated range of the total values for the initial supply of the equipment and ongoing maintenance (including initial 2 year maintenance period and option to extend up to a further 2 years) is between GBP 7,000,000 and GBP 8,500,000.
