The Knowledge Network(TKN)currently uses Microsoft’s Fast enterprise search engine to provide search functionality. Microsoft is due to end support for the product in 2018 and so the Knowledge Services Group (KSG) has instigated the process of looking for a replacement. The search engine needs to be able to maintain the search provision for the TKN as well as continuing to offer a search platform that can be made available to other sites in NES and further afield.
