Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is leading this collaborative procurement on behalf of the Welsh Purchasing Consortium (WPC). The object of the exercise is to establish a framework agreement for a period of 2 years, with an option to extend for a further period of up to 2 years, that is capable of delivering value for money and a quality service for the supply of miscellaneous building materials to all of the WPC member organisations. The agreement will be divided into lots and tenderers may submit proposals for one or more lots.
Community Benefits do not apply to this contract.

The Welsh Purchasing Consortium has been established to support its members in delivering joint collaborative contracts and framework agreements for the procurement of goods and services. It is the intention that the contract or framework entered into between the Council and the Supplier shall be deemed a collaborative arrangement and those bodies referred to below shall, if required, be entitled to engage in the agreement upon the terms and conditions set out within the tender documentation.
