II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The objective of the framework is to establish a framework of approved Contractors who can supply secure Cash Collection and Cash in Transit services. The services to be provided will comprise of the secure collection, processing and consolidation and onward depositing of negotiable and non-negotiable money to high street banks, nominated cash receiving facilities, or other suitable receiving locations as specified in the tender documents. Cash collections are likely to be requested from various premises or buildings of various types and designation, such as, but not limited to, cash offices, schools, leisure centres, public conveniences, country parks and other local authority establishments. A requirement to the service will be cash collections made from on-street and off-street car parks, including pay and display machines. In addition, it is also intended the framework shall offer the provision of a secure cash float service.

It is YPO’s intention to award this contract to 3 providers for each sub lot, however YPO reserve the right to split this contract between more sources if necessary.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: YPO will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar days standstill period folloing notifcation of award. Unsuccessful Tenderers will be able to seek a Debrief in accordance with EU regulation. Any appeal or challenge against the award decision must be communicated to the address stated in section I.1 within the standstill period. If an appeal or challenge regarding the decision to award the contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) provide for aggrieved parties who have suffered harm or are at risk of harm by a breach of the procurement rules to take action in the High Court (England Wales and Northern Ireland).
