Initial project:
Sandwell MBC has identified its requirements for the supply of composite road gully gratings in identified hot-spot areas, that have expereinced recurrences of thefts in recent months. The procurement for the initial replacement project is expected to be undertaken within the first six months from the commencement of the framework agreement.
Thereafter subject to the success of the initial replacement project and the identifiacation of additional funding, other replacement projects may be undertaken during the periof of the framework agreement.
Ongoing requirements:
It is also the intention of Sandwell MBC & Dudley MBC in the event of wear and tear and occurrences of theft to replace iron gully covers with composite ones as covered by this framework agreement.
