The British Council are looking to procure approximately 3 300 computers (laptops, all-in-ones and desktops) that we will then be deploying with Windows 10 Enterprise. We are looking for a participant supplier for Microsoft Autopilot, valid from 1.7.2019. This will form part of the British Council deployment strategy. We are looking for a global provider of business grade equipment, capable of delivering to British Council offices worldwide. It is anticipated that the contract will run for 12 months, but maybe extended to 24 months. Call-off of the indicative volume of 3 300 units will take place during the early part of year 1, with a potential for some small volumes during the remainder of year 1. Year 2 volumes are not yet known, but could be in the region 2 000 units.

Bidders will be required to register on British Council`s e-Tendering portal In-Tend hosted at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/britishcouncil in order to take part in the tender process. Once registered, bidders must login to the website where they can view the project and access the bidders pack and submit their return. Bidders will also be required to demonstrate their capability and `means of proof` will be required. These conditions are outlined in the ITT. The British Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
