University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, as the lead Trust within the West Midlands Procurement Alliance (WMPA), are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers for the supply of Laparoscopic Products which will include but aren’t limited to:
Advanced energy devices.
Trocars.
Mechanical stapling and cutting.
Ligation.
Instruments and accessories.
Suppliers are requested to access the following portal to express their interest, access the PQQ guidance, the MOI and complete the online PQQ form https://www.supplying2nhs.com/procontract/healthservice/supplier.nsf.

All suppliers must raise any clinical or procurement questions they have either through the Due North portal (discussions area) or directly emailing the Procurement lead Clare Houghton.
Any incumbent suppliers to the Trust must only visit the Trust to support their currently supplied products whilst the tender process is running.
All suppliers must not engage in trials or evaluations of new products whilst the tender process is running.
All suppliers must not engage with any of the clinical staff regarding the tender process. Any clarification must be obtained by contacting the Procurement lead Clare Houghton.

(a) is bankrupt or is being wound up, where his affairs are being administered by the court, where he has entered into an arrangement with creditors, where he has suspended business activities or is in any analogous situation arising from a similar procedure under national laws and regulations;
(b) is the subject of proceedings for a declaration of bankruptcy, for an order compulsory winding up the administration by the court or of an arrangement with creditors or of any other similar proceedings under national laws and regulations;
(c) has been convicted by a judgment which has the force of res judicata in accordance with the legal provisions of the country of any offence concerning his professional conduct;
(d) has been guilty of grave professional misconduct proven by any means which the contract authorities can demonstrate;
