Dundee City Council as Lead Authority on behalf of the participating Authorities, namely Dundee City Council and Angus Council (collectively ‘the Partnership’ and individually ‘Partner’) are seeking to develop and procure access to residual waste treatment services. The requirement here is for the appointment of suitably experienced advisers to advise and assist the Partnership in the procurement of a residual waste management solution to treat the Authorities’ residual Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) in compliance with the EU Landfill Directive and Waste Framework Directive; the Scottish Government’s Zero Waste Plan; the Zero Waste (Scotland) Regulations; the requirements of the Dundee City/Angus residual waste treatment project, and all relevant current and impending environmental and other relevant legislation including UK/Scottish legislation relating to climate change (‘the Project’).
