Contractors will be required to submit bid(s) for the supply of bulk liquid oxygen and for the reconfiguration of the Trust Vacuum Insulated Evaporator (VIE) infrastructure.
Tenders will be invited for 3 lots. These will be:
*VIE options*.
Lot 1 – installation of a secondary VIE compound at Tameside General Hospital site and the reconfiguration of the existing primary VIE compound, including telemetry. The Trust will be responsible for providing planning permission, appropriate foundations, compound and associated pipework and ductwork.

Lot 2 – provision of a second VIE compound and the reconfiguration of the existing primary VIE compound atthe Tameside General Hospital site via a full ‘turnkey’ solution, including telemetry. The successful bidder will be responsible for the installation and reconfiguration of pipework, ductwork and compounds. Planning permission will be provided by the Authority.

Lot 3 – A 5+2 year supply and maintenance contract for the provision of bulk liquid oxygen. This will include theoption of the provision of an independent AE for the whole of the site.
