This tender is for the supply of a Metal Deposition System to be located within the University of Warwick’s Mesoscopic Electronic Engineering Centre (MEEC) within the Engineering Department’s extended clean room facility. Investment is being undertaken to strengthen the device capability of the facility to include design, fabrication and assessment of devices made from compound semiconductors and other novel materials. The initial focus for the new activity will be research on narrow band-gap III-V optical and electronic devices. The Metal Deposition System is required for formation of ohmic contacts and other metallic structures associated with these semiconductor materials.
