The contract will be for the provision of Gas to all relevant DCC sites acros Wales and Herefordshire. There are currently 14 supplies to 11 sites although the number of supplies and sites will fluctuate during the life of the contract.
Annual consumption is approximately 20GWh per annum but this is expected to rise to approximately 24GWh.
DCC will only issue the Invitation to Tender (ITT) to Suppliers who can prove they are in possession of a current UK Gas Supply Licence as issued by OFGEM. A copy of the Licence should be provided with any Suppliers’ expression of Interest.

DCC reserves the right to change without notice the procedure for awarding the contract, to reject all or any bids for the contract, to terminate discussions with any or all interested applicants and/or stop the process and not award the contract without liability on its part. DCC is not liable for any cost incurred by those expressing an interest in negotiating or tendering for this contract. Applicants will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire which is available on request. Completed pre-qualification questionnaires must be returned to DCC within the timescale detailed in Section IV.3.4.
