- Lancaster City Council (LCC) is seeking quotations for the supply of network switches and associated hardware to replace the majority of its 50+ network edge switches. The existing network consists largely of 3Com 100Mbps switches with a mixture of PoE and non-PoE units. The network is a converged voice and data network, running both data and VoIP telephony using a 3Com VCX 7000 IP telephony system. The network supports around 600 users.
