The East Midlands Strategic Commercial Unit invites expression of interest from economic operators with the capability to stock and supply uniform to users within the Police Forces of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Northamptonshire. The contract does not include for the manufacture and supply of the uniform. Authorities will still source uniform from their nominated contractors but the stock will be held at the operators premises awaiting call off.
There will still be a requirement to hold specialist items of uniform at each Authority but this contract will cover the storage and supply of most classifications of uniform.
The Framework will also be open to any public sector body (as detailed in Section VI.3) to join during the course of the framework.
